Coronavirus, COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2: the last abbreviation, SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2), is the most medically correct term, however, all three terms are used interchangeably to describe what we colloquially call the Coronavirus.
